This is a list of the "worst schools" in the Dallas Fort Worth area. These are schools with passing rates on the STAAR or TAKS tests that are less than or equal to 50% in any two of the preceding three years or were rated "Improvement Required" by the state accountability system in 2013, 2014 or 2015. The list is good for the 2016-2017 school year. Students attending these schools may apply to transfer to other schools in their school district.
